At Magnolia Hope Schoolhouse, we are passionate about providing an education that is different than the traditonal school model. Kandice has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Literacy Instruction. Our story began with a desire to give children more freedom in education. We aim to not hold students back if they’re ready for more, and not push them ahead regardless of if they are ready. We want to meet them where they are academically while also providing freedom to get up and spend time outdoors. We believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and create positive change in the world.

We want to provide an educational option to families who desire a quality education but also desire more time with their kids. Catered to those who see the value in outdoor time, time spent with animals and learning in all forms including cooking. We will operate on a shorter school week, and a shorter school day.

We believe that learning should be engaging, interactive, and fun. We don’t want the kids to be stuck behind desks all day! That's why we have developed a unique approach to education that combines traditional teaching methods with outdoor education and farm school lessons. We believe that learning should be engaging, interactive, and fun. We don’t want the kids to be stuck behind desks all day! That's why we have developed a unique approach to education that combines traditional teaching methods with outdoor education and farm school lessons. In addition to typical classes we will also teach Bible and we will have time for singing and praise. We will include cooking, baking, knowledge of different careers and farm animals in our days! We will be enrolling students from ages 5 (may begin at 4 if they turn 5 in the Fall) through second grade.
